Questions about astronomy

Which is closer to Earth in order closest to furthest?
Space shuttle------> pluto-------> stars

Space is HUGE!!!
If our solar system is as big as a quarter, the milky way galaxy would be as big as North America.
Size smallest to largest: Solar System -----> Galaxy -------> Universe

A sandbox the size of a football field four feet tall is equivalent to the amount of stars(equal to grain of sand) in the universe. If we shrunk our galaxy to the size of a CD, where would the next galaxy to us be? Marquette, UP, Michigan, United States, or world

My answer: United States

Wrong! They really aren't that far from each other. They a big and full of stars.

Where does matter come from? a) big bang b) core of earth c) interior of stars d)space between stars e) weren't created

My answer: c) interior of stars

Correct! When the Big bang happened there was no matter. 1 proton and 1 electron were created. The gas started to cluster and started nuclear fusion which created stars.
