Fossils are made when an object is compressed in rock. It's form is kept from years of pressure. Fossils are only formed by certain types of rocks. Some creatures have very little evidence because of lack of fossils in that particular area. This form of fossil is called mold and cast.
Class Definition: Remainder of a living thing older than 5000 years. Evidence of life.
Fossils can be formed by mineral rich liquid, carbon impression, and mold and cast.
